Christmas Dinner Dec. 1 At Gen. Morgan Inn

The Greene County Heritage Trust will be hosting our Annual Christmas Dinner on Thursday, Dec. 1st, at the General Morgan Inn, in Greeneville. There will be light refreshments in the lobby beginning at 6:00 p.m., with dinner and program to follow in the ballroom at 6:30 p.m.

Heritage Trust members and patrons and other interested members of the public are cordially invited to attend.

This year's speaker will be Dr. Warren Dockter, of Knoxville, president and CEO of the East Tennessee Historical Society and an authority on the late Sir Winston Churchill. His subject will be: "Sir Winston Churchill And The Queen."

Help give Dr. Dockter a warm welcome to Greeneville!

As in recent years, tickets for the evening are $50 each. Proceeds above expenses are used for local heritage-related projects.

Please make your reservations as soon as possible — and definitely before Tuesday, Nov. 22 — by contacting Carolyn Gregg: telephone (423) 639-3966; or text (423) 329-4369; or email online at carolyngregg55@yahoo.com. Checks for tickets should be sent to the Heritage Trust post office box: P.O. Box 1794, Greeneville, TN 37744.

For additional information, please contact Carolyn Gregg. We look forward to seeing you on Dec. 1st!
